Flu Prevention Reminder from the School Nurse and Center for Disease Control (CDC)

The peak of flu season is upon us, and this year, the flu is particularly bad. We have already had several students miss school due to flu-related illness. As much as we want to see our students in school and learning every day,  we also want to prevent widespread flu in our buildings.

As such, we recommend the following preventative measures:

As a district, we follow the federal guidance for disinfecting and cleaning school buildings to slow the spread of illness.

And, it's not too late to get a flu shot! Talk to your doctor or visit your local pharmacy for more information.
