Black River Local School District Looking to Fill Two Open Board of Education Seats in November

The Black River Local School District is looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to fill two open Board of Education seats. Board members Tim Clifford and Jody Weidrick will not be seeking reelection and will vacate their positions at the end of the calendar year.

Those interested in running for the school board on the November 7 ballot must fill out an application with the Medina County Board of Elections (3800 Stonegate Drive, Suite C, Medina Township, Ohio 44256). The deadline for applications is August 8.

The new board members will serve four-year terms beginning January 1, 2018.  Interested applicants must be at least 18-years-old and a registered elector in the territory comprising the district.
