Black River Local Schools Wants Your Opinion

SULLIVAN, OHIO (July 30, 2019) – Black River Local Schools (BRLS) is conducting an online community survey that will help shape the future of the school district.

The Ohio School Board Association is assisting the Black River Local School District and its core team, made up of Black River community members, with developing a new strategic plan. The online survey is the preliminary process.

“Every opinion matters, and to help improve our school district and better provide for our students and families, we need to hear from you,” said Black River Local School District Superintendent Chris Clark.

The Black River Local Schools Strategic Planning Community Survey is available online and can be found via a link on the school district’s website. The community has until September 9th to take the survey.

Once the survey results are compiled, the core team will use the data to help create the 5-year strategic plan for the district. The goal is to present the core team’s strategic plan to the Black River Board of Education at either the November or December Black River Board of Education meeting for review. Once approved by the Board, the plan will be implemented.

“We are very excited about this process and the impact it will have on the future of BRLS, but it will only be effective if we get community feedback,” said Clark. “Please fill out the survey as soon as you can!”
