Principal's Message

I am proud to be Principal of Black River High School. Each year, we continue to work with our families and communities to produce outstanding college and career ready students. We are second to none when it comes to amount of opportunities for students to take college level courses on our high school campus. Our career technical and fine arts programs are producing highly skilled and creative students reaching high levels of accomplishment.

We anticipate greater levels of achievement this 2017-2018 school year. We are dedicated to a rigorous and relevant curriculum built upon great relationships we cultivate with our students, parents and community members. Our faculty and staff continue to create an environment that promotes depth of learning.

We are committed to create an atmosphere that is safe and academically focused. We aspire to be the best at teaching and learning, using solid research-based instructional strategies to ensure every student succeeds. Rewards are greatest when shared in collaboration.

Parents, please continue to stay in touch with your child’s teachers and counselors, receive our interim progress reports, and finally, please join our parent and booster organizations or simply volunteer time on campus. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you, to work with your students, and to serve our community. It is truly our goal to not just increase and maintain student achievement at high levels, but to better the lives and future of our students in the process.

Yours In Education,
