State Leadership Night

On November 7, the Black River FFA Chapter hosted the State Leadership Night that was put on by two of our Ohio FFA State Officers, Ryan Matthews (President) and Milan Pozderac(Vice President at Large). The Leadership Night’s theme was “Setting Your Heart on Fire, and Passion”. The schools that were in attendance: Buckeye, Mapelton, and Loudonville.

     The officers led the students through a variety of activities on passion, and filling up your bucket and others buckets. Throughout the evening, members had the opportunity to work together with FFA members throughout Medina and Ashland Counties. Each student recieved three post-it-notes, on those they had to write what they want to be doing with their passion in one year, three years. and five years.

     The FFA members enjoyed meeting fellow members from other schools, working together to accomplish common goals, and sharing their passion with others around them.
