4th Grade News!!

Social Studies and Reading

We are moving right along with our 4th grade curriculum. The students are beginning their small reading groups and spelling groups today. Students will be bringing home a list of words that they are responsible for learning. They will be completing small group activities with me, individual activities, and partner activities in class to reinforce their learning. I look forward to working with your children on a more individual level. We have completed the MAPS testing for reading and will now be differentiating for the students’ individual success. I will keep you updated with more information as we continue to dive deeper into the reading and spelling.

Students received information for their Historical Character Project today also! We look forward to learning about many American Citizens. Ask your child about the information!!
